Camps are designed for kids from kindergarten to 12th grade and focuses on teaching cheerleading fundamentals along with fostering confidence and other important skills. It's a thrilling experience full of activities and action. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned cheerleader, clinics provide a stimulating and challenging environment to help you achieve your athletic goals.

Owner & CEO
Our Story
Florida Cheer offers customized training programs for athletes who want to improve their cheerleading skills. Jenise Gorman, Ph.D., is the owner and CEO of Florida Panthers Cheer, with 30 years of cheer experience and 15 years of coaching. She is currently the head cheer coach at H.B. Plant High School.
Jenise developed a passion for cheerleading at an early age and participated in all-star and high school cheer at Plant. She began coaching high school cheer in 2010 and has been coaching at Plant since 2017. Jenise is a FHSAA Cheer Advisory Committee member and actively promotes the sport.
Her accolades include Coach of the Year ('14, '22, and '23). Her program success includes 3X Regional Champs ('22, '23, and '24); FHSAA State Runner Up ('24); 3rd in the State ('21, '22, and '23); 9th NHSCC ('23); Top GPA in the State of Florida ('16, '24, and '25); and top GPA in Hillsborough County Public Schools('22).
Jenise has a love for cheer and eduation and received her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Florida. Jenise is excited to share her expertise and love for cheerleading with other athletes as she takes the next step in her career.
